Marcona almonds are gluten-free.

marcona almonds

If I ever feel a twinge of feeling regret that I cannot eat gluten, I remember to treat myself with a bite of something truly tremendous.

Marcona almonds — pop them in your mouth and crunch down on that creamy saltiness. Your disappointment at not being able to eat that hamburger bun will simply slide away.

I've never heard or seen marcona almonds. Where do you find yours?

I love the way almonds tastes, I never knew there were other kinds. Except the almonds I usually eat burn my gums.
Anyway, the brownies you posted the other day look delish! What camera do you use for your photos? They always come out so clear!

Whole Foods has good marcona almonds... Trader Joe's has them cheaply but sometimes oozing oil out of their bags... and even my local Costco now stocks them! Haven't had a chance to try the Costco ones quite yet (they're still sitting in my pantry until I finish that TJ's bag) but wouldn't it be nice if they were both tasty and inexpensive?

Ali,

Marcona almonds come from Spain. They are slightly sweeter and much creamier than regular almonds. Go find some!

Rebecca,

That’s a great place to find them.

Marie Zoleen,

Wow, if your gums burn when you eat almonds, you may be eating ones that have gluten on them. It does happen.

This photo was taken with my new-to-me Nikon D100. It’s a story as to how I found it. I’ll tell it soon.

Kristin,

These almonds come from the restaurant, which is where I took the photo. The Chef gets his almonds through the Peterson cheese company. But there are plenty of places.

Shuna

Oh my goodness, now I’m dying for an un-adulterated almond! Do you have a source for them here?

Julie,

I actually have found some good TJ ones, and they are not that expensive. But it is hit and miss.

Jeanne,

Oh, I’ve been meaning to try that new place! How is it?
